Depot Artspace

Facade of the Depot Artspace in Devonport

In its 25 years Depot Artspace has remained constant in both its loyalty to the local community and responsiveness to an evolving creative environment.

We employ the transformative capacity of the arts to engage, inspire and challenge the community. We are guided by the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi: Partnership, Participation and Protection.

The Depot philosophy of encouragement, support and inclusiveness has been its touchstone since opening 1996 and has been the basis on which the Depot has grown into a multi-disciplinary creative hub, encompassing all art forms and encouraging a diverse range of artists within the Tāmaki Makarau creative community.
