Catherine Munro (In the Ngahere)

Established in 2021 by Charlie (Niuean and English) and Catherine (Ngātiwai, Ngā Puhi, Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Pākehā), In the Ngahere celebrates their love of design and connection to nature. Their work features greeting cards inspired by Māori and Pasifika design and finely crafted wooden products, often made from recycled materials. Blending cultural expertise and sustainable practices, Charlie and Catherine create art that is both meaningful and environmentally conscious, honouring heritage through thoughtful design.
