Charlotte Penman

Inspired by nature, 20th-century icons, and antiquity, Charlotte Penman works with precious metals and gemstones to create unique, feminine collections. With a background in design, fine art, film, and jewellery making, she combines these influences to craft thoughtful pieces. Since 2019, Charlotte has collaborated with Maya Pellizzaro-Hurrell in their bespoke Devonport studio, creating timeless collections for the Auckland Art Gallery, museums, and boutiques. Their designs feature gemstones from exotic locations, each with its own story, paired with gold and silver to enhance their natural beauty. Every piece is crafted to complement the female form, serving as armour, amulet, or keepsake.
