Katie Smith (Smitten)

Smitten is the result of Katie Smith’s life-long obsession with fabric. She creates textile homewares to co-exist with what you already have and love in your home. As a small, artisan, New Zealand-based business, Smitten sources good quality natural fibres to print on, with a view to greater sustainability. Their ethos is slow design, and small-scale limited production using water based eco-friendly inks.
All of Smitten’s artworks are original: hand painted or drawn. Each motif is inspired by everyday patterns that surround us in nature, architecture, or in urban textures.
