Eva is a full-time jewellery artist and object maker based in Nelson and holds a degree in arts and media. As a conceptual contemporary jeweller, Eva has exhibited in New Zealand and abroad. However, apart from making work for exhibitions, she enjoys designing and making wearable jewellery for everyday use. Her elegant, minimalist, and lightweight pieces, crafted from sterling silver and freshwater pearls, are designed to be favourite go-to pieces, suitable for both the office and special occasions. As a recovered perfectionist, Eva’s work celebrates the beauty found in imperfections. She believes that the maker’s mark is not a flaw, but rather a unique and personal touch that testifies to the love and effort invested in each handmade jewellery piece.
