What's On

Auckland Council’s draft budget for 2023/24, proposes to cut $36.5M from regional arts, events, and community initiatives. This will have long-term negative impacts on Auckland’s arts and creative sector, sending our city backwards socially and economically. But there’s still hope! Many councillors have expressed a deep discomfort with the proposed cuts. We need to act now to encourage them to stand up for Auckland and invest in our city’s future.

DEPOT is among many groups, services and organisations across Tāmaki Makaurau facing significant funding cuts. The Annual Budget’s Survey 2023/2024 is your opportunity to make yourself heard and share your opinion, thoughts and views on the proposed changes. Help us protect investment in arts, culture and the community.
