The Spectator Series explores an Otrovert’s lived experience of a spatial encounter in a gallery / art show (public spaces that invite heightened rerceptual receptivity). The artist translates (oversensitized and therefore muted) sensory impressions of atmospheric, chromatic and spatial qualities of an exhiition setting through figurative painting that tends toward abstraction: Bright lights, busy spaces and people watching art about people watching art.
