‘Sprig’ is a series of brooches made with copper wire, each made as a branch/sprig like shape and then curled around a brooch fitting. This method of construction meant I didn’t have full control over the end result.

About Phillipa

I am a jewellery artist working in an explorative format; using a material or technique to experiment with. Completing a BA in Fine Art majoring in Gold and Silversmithing at RMIT at the beginning of my career, a few years ago I completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Art. I supply several galleries around New Zealand with jewellery and recently had a piece acquired by the Dowse for its collection.
