Nicki Heenan MSc (Hons), RWSW, RI
Originally from London and now based in Devonport, Nicki Heenan is an artist whose practice merges science, music, and classical painting.
She holds an MSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and trained at Goldsmiths, The Prince’s Drawing School, and The Slade.
Her work in watermedia explores natural pigments and materials, combining traditional techniques with contemporary approaches.
A sought-after tutor, Nicki teaches internationally and regularly contributes to exhibitions with the Federation of British Artists. Her work is shown in galleries across the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, and New Zealand.
Nicki was elected to the RWSW in 2020 and to the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour in 2024.
