How it Works
In just one hour, transform blank ceramics into your personal masterpieces, guided every step of the way by our experienced staff.
Your purchase covers everything from painting to firing.
Items are always changing and range from $30 penguins to $100 platters.
Simply pay for your selected ceramic piece and we’ll provide all the painting materials, brushes etc and expert advice from our friendly staff. Then settle in for the perfect blend of creativity, relaxation, and fun.
CHOOSE
Select your ceramic piece from our range and think about your design. We’ll explain how the paints and tools work and provide inspiration tips to get you started.
CREATE
Time to get creative and paint your masterpiece. We have plenty of paint colours to choose from; along with all the brushes, pencils, tools, sponges, stencils etc. you’ll need.
COLLECT
Once you’re done you’ll pay for your items and leave the rest us. After we’ve glazed and fired your pieces they’ll be ready or collection in 14 days.
Groups
Ceramic Painting is the perfect activity for groups – creative, relaxing and fun. Our pricing is simply based on the individual ceramic item you select and inclusive of paints used, glazing and firing. Our staff expert will assist your group throughout the session to create something they can use (or gift) and keep forever.

Prior artistic experience is not necessary. With your imagination and tips from us – we will help you create a truly unique masterpiece.
The sessions are typically around 1 hour.
For one to four people just dropping is fine however we require bookings for larger groups.
We understand things can change. We just appreciate some prior notice. There is a cancel booking option in our booking section.
Our pricing is simply based on the individual ceramic item you select and is inclusive of paints used, glazing and firing. Ceramic pieces range in price from $35 – $55 each.
Just your imagination. We provide everything else.
We will text you when they are ready for pick. Usually no more than 14 days.
All our paints are non-toxic, washable and are perfectly safe.
Yes, there is a mixture of paid and free parking in Devonport Village
Yes, the ferry building is a few minutes walk and there are regular buses from Takapuna.
Yes we can! We can safely post our courier your piece(s) throughout New Zealand or around the world. Please contact us for a price.
We do not offer supervision. As per NZ law, any young person left unsupervised must be at least 14 years old.
Sorry, but we do not allow food in the studio. This is because greasy fingers can contaminate the very porous ceramic (bisque) pieces meaning the glaze may not adhere.
Yes, you are welcome to bring in soft drinks and coffee.
Yes – your piece will be food safe.
If you break your piece while painting there is a 50% charge of the retail price. If you choose to have the broken piece(s) glazed and fired then the full retail price will be payable. If the piece breaks during glazing and firing we will provide you a credit for another piece of the same value.
