Amelia Harris: Amateur Love

Amateur Love is an exhibition of amateur artworks from 1815 through to present times. Collected from op shops and refuse stations over several years, this exhibition will be the first time they are displayed together. The works are accompanied by specially written notes that examine the mysteries, and ponder each of the works’ significance. Part celebration, part investigation, part quest for enlightenment, this exhibition wonders whether amateur artists can remind us what art is about.
