Gelli Plate Adventures with Steve Bolton & Stacey Edgar

Heard about Gelli Plate printing but don’t know where to start? This comprehensive three-hour workshop will give you a taste of gelli plate printing and set you off on your own gelli plate adventure.
With backgrounds in photography and collage and painting and cartooning respectively Stacey Edgar and Steve Bolton are both practitioners and devotees to this exciting, fun and incredibly accessible print making process. So don’t delay, get your skates on. Stacey and Steve are gonna show you how.

About Steve & Stacey
Steve Bolton is an Auckland-based painter, printmaker, cartoonist and author. He is a contributing cartoonist to The New Zealand Listener with work published by Stuff, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Media Week, Good Housekeeping and many more. Working in a range of media, Steve’s work reflects many elements of popular culture and everyday life and features elements common in cartooning and illustration; with movement, humour and narrative flow all common themes.
Stacey Edgar is a local artist, photographer and printmaker. Known for her photographic work documenting daily life and street scenes, her printmaking draws significant influence from the Bingata tradition of her native Okinawa.

Please note that places are strictly limited to 12 and unless specified are for ages 16+ only.
