Lantern Making Workshop & Sea Level Rise Procession

Depot Artspace welcomes you to the Devonport Community House to attend a public art workshop on Sat 17 September from 1-6pm with light refreshments from 5:30.
Master carver Natanahira Te Pona will be teaching participants how to create Blue lanterns as part of the Sea Level Rise Procession taking place along Devonport beach in the evening.
All are welcome to this event. If you have made Matariki Lanterns with Natanahira Te Pona before, please bring them along and re-cover them in blue tissue paper.
After the workshop we will walk with our lanterns and create a blue light sculpture along the beach at sunset.
