Lavelua Ma’afu: Nothing in Return

About the Exhibition:

Nothing in Return was formed through a series of personal reflections on the endless search for the meaning of existence and explores ways we seek answers, both from within and beyond.

This is my offering to the cosmos, made with hope for a response; aware that it may never come and half wishing that it doesn’t.  I expect nothing in return.

About the Artist:

Lavelua Ma’afu is a creative based in Ōtara who explores ideas drawn from personal ponderings, daydreams and reflections on human culture. Led by curiosity and always wanting to try new things, she continues to experiment across multiple mediums.
