About the Exhibition
The Stacey & Steve Show is what happens when two friends realise they’ve been on the same creative wavelength. Same tools, same techniques, same obsession with printmaking.
Rather than working to a fixed theme, they chose to keep things open – making space for play and allowing ideas to emerge organically. The result? A vibrant collection of 40 framed monoprints (20 each), plus a larger painting and a curated selection of unframed originals, all made in 2025.
At the heart of the show is the monotype process: acrylic paint rolled onto gelli plates and pulled by hand – spontaneous, tactile, and never the same twice.
The Stacey & Steve Show is a celebration of shared process, individual voice, and the unpredictability of printmaking.
About the Artists
Steve Bolton
Steve Bolton is a Devonport based artist, painter, cartoonist, muralist, printmaker, teacher and sculptor.

Stacey Edgar
Stacey Edgar is a local, self-taught Okinawan American maker who works with photography, collage, linocut and gel plate printing. She uses found materials, nature, and everyday objects as inspiration for her work, focusing on texture and the beauty of imperfection. Stacey seeks to capture the simple, often overlooked moments around her.
