Vivienne Kent

Board Member

I am currently teaching human rights and conflict resolution at AUT University, and have a PhD in sociology. Before my academic career I worked in fashion and the music industry in Aotearoa, Australia and the UK, and loves music and the arts.

As a Devonport resident for twenty-five years, I have a longstanding connection with the Depot; my son Finn Andrews of The Veils recorded his first demos with Rikki Morris in the old Bus studio, my daughter Lia worked at the Depot for several years, and my son Ossian was a volunteer in the gallery. I am delighted to be on the Board and to be able to support the Depot’s commitment to creativity and the community.
