Currently teaching human rights and conflict resolution at AUT University, Vivienne has a PhD in sociology. Before her academic career she worked in fashion and the music industry in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and the UK, and has a deep love of music and the arts.
As a Devonport resident for 25 years, she has a longstanding connection with Depot. Her son Finn Andrews of The Veils recorded his first demos with Rikki Morris in the old Bus studio, her daughter Lia worked at the Depot for several years, and her son Ossian was a volunteer in the gallery. She is excited to be able to support Depot’s commitment to creativity and the community.
