30 Years Of Celebrating Creativity, Community, Artists & The Arts

Since 1996, DEPOT has played a vital role in the cultural life of Devonport and the North Shore and has increasingly grown its impact and reputation across Aotearoa. We have supported thousands of artists and musicians across our programmes and spaces, presented inspiring exhibitions and performances, nurtured emerging talent, delivered transformative education programmes, helped hundreds of creatives into meaningful employment, and provided welcoming spaces where people can gather, share ideas, and build community.

As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we are not only reflecting on what has been achieved, but we are looking ahead to what comes next.

Arts organisations and not-for-profits like DEPOT are facing increasing challenges. Funding is stretched, costs continue to rise, and the need for creative spaces that support artists and entertain audiences remains as important as ever. To remain independent, ambitious and responsive, DEPOT increasingly relies on the support of people who understand the value of the arts and want to see creativity continue to flourish for generations to come.

Today, we invite you to be part of our future.
