Wayfind Creative for Rangatahi

DEPOT and Youth Arts New Zealand have teamed up to offer a FREE programme designed for young creatives who want to turn their passion into a sustainable business or side hustle.   

Programme Details: 

We’re offering two separate cohorts so you can choose a weekend that works for you: 

  • 28 – 30 March 2025 
  • 11 – 13 April 2025 

Location: Whare Toi Artspace, 24 Kerr St, Devonport, Auckland 0642 
Cost: FREE (Spaces are limited) 
Applications Close: Sunday 2 March 2025, 11.59pm 

Whether you’re juggling multiple gigs or just starting out, this programme will give you the skills, confidence, and connections to turn your creativity into a viable and fulfilling career. 

What You’ll Learn: 

  • How to set your vision and goals 
  • Build a personal brand that stands out.  
  • Finance essentials for a creative entrepreneur or freelancer.  
  • Level up your marketing skills and grow your social media presence.  
  • Understand how to protect your work: copyright, royalties, and IP.  
  • Explore A.I. in creative careers. 

You’ll also connect with a community of like-minded emerging creatives who are on the same journey.    

This programme is perfect for you if:  

  • You’re a creative aged 16 – 30 and ready to take the next step. 
  • You’re passionate about your creative practice and are already creating or sharing your work.
