Component has worked as a successful independent artist for the last 20 plus years. Making, creating, and challenging what it means to be an artist from both a personal and professional perspective. Being self-trained, Component excels in challenging the status quo with musings from his own observations of life, politics, and the minute of the human experience. As a founding member of Cut Collective much of Components early works focussed on creating large scale collaborative works, that are fast, fun, and fantastical.
