She is a ceramic artist with a BFA in Sculpture from Ilam School of Fine Arts, University of Canterbury. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, she began her practice in 2019, influenced by her mother’s journey with dementia and grounded in themes of identity, time, and memory. Her ceramic works explore the relationship between philosophical ideas and clay’s materiality, with fragmented pieces symbolizing the unwinding mind and gaps in memory. Focusing on the process rather than the final form, her pieces reflect the connection between the potter and the pot, creating a unique ceramic vocabulary embedded in domestic ware.
