Monmouth Glass Studio
Monmouth Glass Studio was established in 2012 by glass artists Stephen Bradbourne and Isaac Katzoff.
Monmouth’s core offering includes handblown glass lighting and vessels for the home. Our furnace holds 200 kilos of glass, and it is kept molten at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Every piece is gathered from the furnace then hand shaped and blown using traditional glassblowing techniques that date back hundreds of years. At Monmouth we believe in quality hand-made items that are well designed, well made, and will stand the test of time.
The Monmouth workshop is located in Waitākere, and we have a gallery at 5 Great North Rd in Grey Lynn that displays our lighting and homewares, alongside special one-off pieces by Monmouth studio artists.
