Where do stories come from? Do the birds drop them like seeds in the garden? Do they peep out from the corners of our dusty minds? Can we hold them in place? Pin them down briefly with words and pictures, before they fly away with the last light of day.
In this exhibition Claire Delaney reveals some of her storybook characters, through paintings, etchings and mixed media work.
As her first book “Little Wing” goes to print, it seems appropriate to come full circle. As it was the member’s exhibition “A game of two halves” four years ago that exposed this potential tale of possibilities.
